Are there any rules regarding clothing and footwear?
Footwear is most important - it has to be of a type that won't damage the court surface. Soles must be non-marking, not black and not be ridged or studded. Cross trainers and running trainers are not allowed.

You should wear recognised tennis clothing white or coloured or t-shirts. No jeans, cut-offs, football shirts, vest tops or spaghetti straps!

How do I find someone to play with?
The best way to meet people is to come along to Club Sessions. These run on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. You can also play in the Box Leagues - we run 3 of these each year (2 singles and 1 doubles) and all levels of player cantake part.

There are also various internal tournaments to come along to, some are serious, some are for fun!

Finally, you can post a notice on the boards in the clubhouse if you are looking for a hitting partner.

Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely! Please note that guests must be registered at the time of booking and a £5.00 guest fee is payable per guest each time they come to the club and they can only visit a maximum of 6 times in a year. 
 

Can U12's  book courts?
Unfortunately not - juniors members wishing to play just show up and wait for a vacant court. 
 

How long can I book a court for?
Courts may be booked for one hour per group (singles or doubles). Please don't book a further hour in another person's name!

The only exception to this is if you are playing a match in an external competition such as the South London Tennis League in which case the court can be booked for 2 hours.

How do I book a court?

Our Online Court Booking is now managed via ClubSpark’s digital platform.

If you have not registered with ClubSpark before you will have to create an account (it’ll only take a second) or sign in through your LTA, Facebook, Google or Microsoft account.

Once signed in please accept our Telford Park Clubs T&C’s and opt in or out of any consents. Clicking continue will take you to your profile page, here you will have the opportunity to update your contact details.
