Fine detail of booking rules vary with the time of year. However some points remain in place throughout:

• No play is allowed before 7:30am on weekdays, 8:00am on Saturdays and 8:30am on Sundays.
• No play is allowed after 10:00pm.
• Courts may only be booked by fully paid up members.
• Courts may only be booked for one hour per group (singles or doubles). Members playing in a four may not book a further hour in another player's name.
• Courts cannot be booked during Club Afternoon and Club evenings (except where shown as free on the booking sheet).
• If a booked court is not occupied within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, it may be used by other members.
• During the Club Tournament, matches take priority over booked courts and coaching.
• If a court is not booked and other members are waiting to play, a short set should be played, then the court vacated.
• All guests must be registered online when the booking is made and a guest fees of £5.00 per person should be deposited in the internal letter box. Members are responsible for paying or collecting guest fees. 

Clothing

Members must wear recognised tennis clothing (white or coloured) or T-shirts. Outer clothes may not include jeans, cut-offs, football shirts or other non-tennis garments.

Footwear

Footwear must not damage the court. Soles must be non-marking, not black and must not be ridged or studded. Cross trainers and running trainers are not allowed.
